Dust Product Update 7
Hi there,
We're excited to introduce enhancements that boost productivity and expand Dust's reach. Our updated @help
and @dust
assistants now provide precise support with direct documentation access and targeted data searches. We've streamlined conversation management and integrated Dust with Zendesk and Make.com, allowing you to incorporate our capabilities directly into your existing workflows.
Here's what's new in Dust.
BUILDING & USING ASSISTANTS
π‘ Improved @help Assistant
The @help assistant now directly accesses our documentation, providing more accurate answers to your questions about specific tools, use cases, or troubleshooting. We've added over 30 tutorials to our documentation, covering key use cases and guides. We welcome your feedback on what additional information you'd find helpful.
π Enhanced @dust Assistant Capabilities
We've upgraded the @dust assistant to search within specific data sources when you specify them. For example, if you know information is in Slack, just ask, and it will search there directly.
ποΈ Streamlined Conversation Management You can now select and delete multiple conversations at once from the sidebar, making it easier to organize and keep only the most relevant discussions.
EXPANDING DUST'S REACH
π Make.com Integration
Dust now integrates with Make workflows. You can trigger assistants, make API calls, or upload documents to a Dust folder directly within your Make automations. βπΌ Read our guide.
π Coming Soon
π Vaults
The major Vaults update is close to the finish line. As a reminder, Vaults are like secure storage spaces for information in a workspace. There are two kinds:
- A company vault that everyone in the workspace can use.
- Smaller, special vaults that only certain people can access.
When you make an AI assistant using information from a special vault, only the people with access to that vault will be able to use the assistant. This will help keep sensitive information safe and makes sure only the right people can see and work with certain data or assistants.
βοΈ Snowflake Connection & Database Query
You will soon be able to connect Dust to Snowflake, and build assistants that can execute SQL queries on your behalf and return results. Combined with our Data Visualization tool, you will be able to create an even more powerful Analytics assistant.
π¬ Zendesk Integration
Dust will soon be available directly from the Zendesk marketplace. When your agents receive a ticket, they can access Dust's capabilities right from there. We are currently searching for testers so if you are interested, please contact us at support@dust.tt to join the test.
As a reminder, we've also created a script to import your entire Zendesk ticket history into a Dust folder. βπΌ Read our guide.
π» Dust Extension
Thanks to a browser extension, you wonβt have to come to Dust, but Dust will come to you with context on the page your are visiting.
