[Dust] Product Update 6

We've added new features to Dust: a Microsoft SharePoint Connection, updated documentation, image processing for Anthropic models, and data visualization capabilities. We've also created import scripts for Jira, Zendesk, and Salesforce. In this product update, we also want to introduce the Vaults feature for managing sensitive data access.

Here's what's new in Dust.

BUILDING & USING ASSISTANTS

💝 @OOOCatchUp

• catching up with Slack after time off is stressful; that's why we've made @OOOCatchUp an assistant to give you a clear overview of essential points you missed. Test it now!

🖼️ Vision Capabilities with Anthropic Models

• You can now upload or paste images to Anthropic custom and default assistants to process text or run analysis.

📊 Data Visualization Capabilities

• Dust now enables assistants to generate React components, enhancing data analysis by adding the ability to create graphs and charts directly in the conversation UI.
• This feature is available to everyone and can be added via the assistant builder tools.

🏎️ New Quickstart Guide, Tutorials & Enriched Documentation

• We've launched a new quickstart guide with video tutorials to help you get started with Dust more easily.
• We added +30 tutorials to unlock key use cases and guides to our doc to explain key concepts: context window, LLMs limitations to handle structured data. Please share your feedback, and let us know what you think is still missing.

🤖 New Zapier Action: Talk to a Dust Assistant

• You can now trigger a Dust assistant directly from Zapier. This new action allows you to incorporate any Dust assistant into your Zapier workflows. ✍️ Read our guide.

💎 Dust Community

• Join our new community forum, open to everyone! Ask questions and share inspiration with the rest of the community.

📘 Provider Status Page Updates

• Stay informed with real-time updates on LLMs provider disruptions directly within the app, improving transparency and communication for all Dust users.

🧮 [BETA] Dust for Google Spreadsheets

• Interact with Dust assistants directly from your Google Spreadsheet cells to input the assistant’s answer for each row. ✍️ Read our guide here!
• This feature is open to Enterprise customers, with a daily limit of 100 messages per user.

CONNECTIONS & DATA SOURCES

🖇️ [ALPHA] Microsoft SharePoint Connector

• You can now index documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs from Microsoft SharePoint drives.
• This feature is currently in alpha and available to all Dust customers.

🔗 Jira Issues to Dust Import Script

• Easily integrate Jira issues into Dust with our new pre-made script, available on our GitHub repository.

🚀 Zendesk Tickets Import Script

• We've introduced a script allowing you to export and import updated Zendesk tickets into a Dust Folder. This is a step towards providing comprehensive support for Zendesk users.

🔧 Salesforce Accounts to Dust Import Script

• Integrate Salesforce account summaries into Dust easily using our new import script, which is available for all workspaces using Salesforce.
• This script supports OAuth and traditional authentication methods, simplifying the data integration into a Dust Folder.

WORKSPACE ADMINISTRATION

👁️ Microsoft Entra ID SSO Integration

• Microsoft Entra ID SSO is now live. It provides flexibility and security by enabling it alongside existing Okta SSO configurations.
• This feature is gated but can be enabled for all Enterprise accounts utilizing Azure or Microsoft Entra ID upon request. Reach out to us at team@dust.tt.

🔐 [PREVIEW] Introducing Vaults: a new way to manage sensitive data in Dust.

Vaults will allow for restricted access to sensitive data, such as HR, finance, or leadership information.

How do Vaults work?

Admins will now be able to create 1) a workspace-wide vault available to all users and 2) specific vaults, associating selected data sources with designated users. If you create an assistant using a document from the Vault 1, only users with access to Vault 1 will be able to see and interact with this assistant.

Vaults are currently in preview mode. While we're not offering full support during this phase, we're eager to hear from you! If you're interested in learning more about Vaults or want to be among the first to try this feature, please contact us at team@dust.tt.
