Dust Product update 17

Hi there,
We've shipped significant improvements to Dust this month. Schedule your agents to run automatically, build agents that run reliably for extended periods, and access tools and data across multiple spaces. Plus major expansions to our tool integrations across your entire workflow.
Companies are moving from "What agent should we build?" to "How do we run hundreds of them reliably?" At Dust, we're building the primitives that let you orchestrate fleets of intelligent agents, the operating system that turns your internal data into a living material that compounds in value.
Here's what's new in Dust.
😴 Dust agents now work while you sleep
We don't see the future of work stopping at AI assistance. For agents to truly transform how work gets done, they need to work independently, running your most important workflows automatically, whether you're in meetings, offline, or asleep.
Schedule your agents
You can now add a schedule to your agents. Agents will run on a regular basis, following the schedule. Perfect for automating recurring workflows like daily reports, weekly summaries, or regular data syncs.
Create new agents more easily
We've also made it easier to build these autonomous agents. The agent creation interface now offers improved tool selection dialog, XML block formatting for instructions, better data source selection, and streamlined UX for building custom agents. This update makes agent creation more accessible for new builders while providing power users with advanced capabilities.
🫶 Building the Connected Workplace
We're building toward a workplace where every tool speaks the same language and your AI moves seamlessly between them. Starting a task in Slack, pulling data from Drive, and updating Asana becomes one fluid workflow.
Here are all of things we’ve added to support that vision.
Agents can now use tools and data sources from multiple Spaces
You can now create agents that leverage resources across multiple Spaces to create much more powerful and flexible automations.

Use tools in Conversations
Tools in conversations are now available to everyone from the chat bar. Use tools that don't require configuration "on the fly" without creating an agent.

Build your Excel sheets with your Dust agents
Use Dust directly inside Microsoft Excel, on both online and Desktop versions. Available at https://office-addins.dust.tt with full documentation.
Share feedback to improve agents from Slack
Users can now give feedback to agent replies directly in Slack, matching the web app experience. We've also expanded the MCP toolkit that powers these connections.

🧮 The MCP Corner
- Asana – Now available in the default MCP servers list, making connection easier with no manual entry needed.
- Jira – Create, read, update, and transition issues with JQL support and flexible authentication options.
- GitHub: personal credentials – Actions like creating issues and PR comments now appear as coming from you, not the dust-agent bot, for better attribution and audit trails.
- Google Drive: personal credentials – Agents can now access Google Drive documents using the personal credentials of the calling user, ensuring role-based access control. This provides real-time, read-only access with no syncing required.
- Slack – Select specific channels that agents can access when using the Slack tool, allowing for more targeted workflows.
Plus: Unread Support for better message triage, and Zapier integration upgrade with new 'blocking' parameter that bypasses the 30-second timeout by returning conversationId instantly for separate polling.
We'd love your feedback on these new features and tools, and any suggestions for future improvements, ping us at support@dust.tt.
