Dust Product update 14
Hi there,
We've introduced significant improvements to Dust. You can now build with Claude 4 Sonnet, discover agents through our enhanced tagging system, and connect to any MCP-compatible server with our standardized foundation. These updates make your agents more powerful and easier to work with.
Here's what's new in Dust.
Build with Claude 4
Chat with Sonnet 4 our new global agent or switch your favourite agents to Claude 4 Sonnet. Claude 4 Sonnet is Anthropic’s latest generation of Claude models, setting new standards for coding and AI agents.
We recommend upgrading your existing agents to Claude 4. Admins can contact us at support@dust.tt for batch migration assistance across multiple agents.
Finding and curating agents
Find the right agent with our new tagging system and enhanced search. Admins can now organize agents by department or use case, while the flexible permission system lets multiple editors maintain and evolve agents together.
Get automatic suggestions of relevant agents when you post messages without @mentions.
Create your own tools
Connect your agents to any MCP-compatible server and use our new file generation and GitHub tools (see below). This standardized approach dramatically reduces the effort required to connect new systems to your agents. An improved MCP authentication flow is coming soon.

Create issues and review PR with the GitHub tool
Create issues, retrieve pull requests, and generate code reviews directly through your agents. Eng teams can build automated PR reviewer agents that have access to your codebase and company documentation.
Chat with agents from the CLI
Access your Dust agents directly from the command line. Simply 'npm i -g @dust-tt/dust-cli' and run 'dust' to start chatting.
Eng teams can now chat with agents without leaving their terminal workflow, eliminating context switching during development.
