[Preview] expanding agent capabilities with new tools
We're introducing a suite of new tools leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that enable deeper integrations and more powerful workflows for your agents:
- Tools were at the core of building Dust agents from the beginning. Now Dust native tools are MCP standardized, and we'll keep creating new tools based on the MCP standard (Github tool available now, image generation (see above) and Hubspot coming soon)
- Builders can connect their own MCP servers to their Dust workspace and use them as agent tools.
Contact us for early access to these preview features and help shape the future of agent capabilities!

Dust is also available as an MCP server through our command line integration. Run a local MCP server connected to your Dust account and use your agents in Claude Desktop, Cursor, or Windsurf. Bring your agents' context and capabilities with you wherever you work.
